Abhrak is a mineral made up of small quantities of silicon, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and aluminum. अभ्रकं गगनं भृङ्गमभ्रं खं व्योमनामकम।वज्रं घनश्च बहुपत्रंनन्तकम्।।आकाम्म्ब्रं शुभ्रं त्वमलं गरजध्वजं।मेघख्य मन्तरिक्षश्च तदेव परिकीर्तितं।। (रस तंत्र १० / १-२) It is primarily employed to address male sexual issues such as low sperm count and diminished sexual desire, thanks to its property of boosting sperm production and its aphrodisiac characteristics. Abhrak bhasma could be beneficial for diabetics as it aids in controlling blood glucose levels due to its hypoglycemic properties. Ayurveda suggests consuming Abhrak bhasma with guduchi satva or turmeric juice to enhance metabolism and regulate blood sugar levels because of its Deepan (appetizer), Pachan (digestive), and Rasayana properties.
